Driveshafts and CV joints

Driveshafts

Driveshafts are completely stripped degreased, cleaned and old CV boots discarded as our steering racks. The shaft bar is then checked for any spline damage, bends or defects. Inboard CV joints are then checked for any signs or wear and remanufactured if worn. The inboard CV joint is then completely rebuilt and fitted to the shaft bar using a new neoprene CV boot to O.E. specification. Then either a new CV joint or remanufactured CV joint is fitted neoprene CV boot and stainless steel CV clips are fitted. Both CV joints are re-greased using Lithium Molybdenum CV grease.
The complete driveshaft is then washed, painted and boxed ready for distribution.

CV Joints

Wherever possible a new CV joint is supplied and come complete with a new neoprene CV boot, lithium molybdenum CV grease, stainless steel CV clips and nut all to the European Quality Standard BS EN ISO 9001. All new CV joints carry a twelve-month or 12, 000-mile warranty.
Should a new CV joint be unavailable then it may be possible to remanufacture an old CV joint dependant on its condition, however it is our company policy to supply a new CV joint where possible. All CV Joints come boxed and labelled.
