Steering Racks
All old core is inspected to ensure only the best old core is used. Each steering rack is then total dismantled degreased and cleaned. |
|
| Our key personnel reassemble the steering racks using both new and reclaimed parts. Specialist tools are used to fit new seal kits, bushes and bearings to each steering rack and completely. The unit is then pressure tested and tested for any “play” or “float” in the rack before the unit is finally washed painted and boxed ready for distribution. |

Power Steering Pumps
Power Steering pumps are completely striped down all internal parts are inspected, any worn, defective and all power steering seals are discarded. The remaining parts are tested for tolerance. The pump body is then cleaned and washed ensuring that no contaminants are present. The pump is the reassembled using new high temperature power steering seals, using higher specification seal than O.E. standards (where possible) and new or reclaimed internal parts.

The power steering pump then receives a full high-pressure bench test, ensure that the pump is working correctly and at the correct pressure. Final the pump is cleaned washed and painted ready for distribution with it’s own test report.
Power Steering Boxes
The power steering boxes is first given a visual inspection for any signs of damage before being stripped down, all old seals and bushes are discarded. Due to the O.E. design of steering boxes it is usual that the shafts and rockers require re-chroming to enable us to fit O.E. seal kit.
Once all parts are reclaimed our key personnel, using specialist tools to fit new O.E. seals, bearings and bushes reassemble the steering box. Once the steering box is complete the unit is tested for “play” before being given a bench pressure test. Then the unit is washed and painted ready for distribution.
